Contract type: Permanent Bracco is an international Group active in the healthcare sector and a leader in diagnostic imaging. The Group’s main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures and license and distribution agreements. Bracco is seeking a motivated R&D Sustainability & Innovation Specialist to lead initiatives that reduce environmental impact and drive innovation in sustainable healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will combine scientific expertise, regulatory knowledge, and project management skills to integrate sustainability across R&D projects and the company’s value chain. Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties, and Tasks Develop comprehensive strategies to minimize Bracco's environmental footprint. Manage and coordinate innovation projects in collaboration with external partners. Support the preparation of the Sustainability Report in alignment with CSRD standards. Monitor current literature and trends on sustainability in the healthcare sector. Identify risks and opportunities for implementing circular economy practices throughout Bracco’s value chain. Prepare Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for products and processes. Design mitigation strategies to address the environmental impact of contrast agents. Assess the implications of forthcoming environmental regulations on Bracco's business operations. Produce technical documentation, draft patent applications, and prepare contracts for collaborative research programs with third parties. Deliver presentations at scientific conferences. Maintain and develop core relationships with internal stakeholders, including: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Technical Operations (Tech Ops) Corporate Development Education Master’s degree in ESG, green economy, and sustainability Skills Experienced in sustainability within the healthcare sector (3-5 years) Skilled in preparing Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) using SimaPro software or similar tools Experienced in healthcare sustainability regulations Skilled in research project management Working in multidisciplinary and international teams If you meet the requirements of this opportunity and would like to join an international group working to improve patients' lives, apply now!
