About the role: As an R&D Intern within the Systems Engineering team at Boston Scientific, you will play an integral role in developing life-changing medical technologies. Your responsibilities will include: Fully participate in and contribute to product development teams by supporting activities such as test fixture design, defining performance requirements, validating test methods, analyzing data, and presenting technical findings. Plan and manage your own work independently to meet project timelines and communicate effectively with team members. Design and coordinate hands-on engineering investigations and solutions. Troubleshoot product or process issues related to design, materials, or manufacturing. Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from experimental results and testing. Prepare clear documentation and reports to communicate results within the technical community. Demonstrate knowledge of the product development process through the delivery of high-quality outputs and documentation. Qualifications: Required qualifications: Rising senior (undergraduate or graduate) majoring in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an anticipated graduation term between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Able to start early to mid-June 2025 and commit to a 12-week, full-time internship Reliable transportation to and from the worksite Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
