Position Type:

  • Contract
  • On-Site

Required:

  • Science degree. Experience in conducting experiments in science.
  • Excel/Word/MS Outlook - Microsoft product proficient.
  • Good communication skills – oral and written (e.g. communication on telephone and internal).
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Works well in a team setting, working with QA/R&D work team on other aspects of project.
  • Self-motivated and with initiative.
  • Diligent and perseverant.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up benchtop, pilot plant experiments.
  • Managing product inventories, product entries, purchase orders.
  • Support and lead pilot plant trials, product packing, shipping, labelling etc.
  • Capable of working in the lab under GLP/GMP practices.
  • Accurate data entry, documentation, following the procedures is a must.
  • Interacting with other employees to independently identify and organize resources for conduct of experiments.
  • Available for travelling to manufacturing sites to support trials when required.
  • Engaging with suppliers in discussions associated with ingredient purchasing, and follow ups.
