Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

Weatherford is seeking a skilled and experienced Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team based out of our Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador facility, . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and machinery used in our operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, and other mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
  • Replace worn or defective parts and components.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Liner Hanger and other tools of the trade is a plus/preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
