In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L’Oréal’s most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.

• Review and post journal entries regarding trade receivables provision i.e. bad debts, provision return, customer promo allowances, year-end rebates etc.
• Review and post journal entries regarding stock provision i.e. stock commitments, SLOB’s.
• Post provisions for Rebates.
• Creation of SD Rebate Agreements.
• Prepare Fi-CO reconciliation.
• Prepare reports for audit purposes.
• Liaise with Auditors in case of any questions.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures regarding General Ledger and Reporting.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation especially provisions accounts.
• Leading the Balance Sheet meetings with CFOs.
• Prepare P&L reports for CFO and Division Controllers, and report P&L data to compass.
• Inventories and Margin on inventories Reporting.
• CAPEX Reporting.
• Reporting of Credit Indicators.
• Process alignement.
• GR/IR Reporting and Clearing.
