Responsibilities As a Resident Aide, you will be a critical member of our care team, working in our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing Unit. You’ll provide hands-on daily support and compassionate care to residents to promote their independence and well-being. Responsibilities include: * Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility/ambulation) * Answering resident call lights promptly and courteously * Promoting resident dignity, individuality, and rights while encouraging independence * Participating in shift reports and maintaining up-to-date resident records * Supporting meal service by managing menu choice tickets and helping serve meals * Laundering personal items for residents * Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed * Following infection control and safety procedures diligently * Collaborating with nursing staff and contributing to a calm, respectful, and team-oriented work environment Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital setting preferred * Strong background in customer service and interpersonal communication * Ability to pass a pre-employment background check * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Life Enriching Communities is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and compliance with the applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
