Job Summary As a Restaurant Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities include clearing tables while ensuring every guest receives attentive and seamless service. You will maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in a fast-paced setting, consistently upholding safety standards. Above all, you are committed to providing superior hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Responsibilities · Provide direct and indirect assistance to servers, including delivery and clearing of food and beverage items. · Inspect and maintain station cleanliness and proper setup before, during, and after each shift. · Greeting guests warmly. · Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns. · Comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as restaurant liquor policies, regarding alcohol service. · Ensure alcohol is consumed only in designated areas. · Build professional, hospitable rapport with every guest served. · Complete opening, running, and closing side work assignments as scheduled. · Actively participate as a team member to support smooth operations. · Attend ongoing training sessions, review shift notes, and participate in pre-shift meetings. · Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service standards. Qualifications · Minimum age of 18 years. · Ability to obtain any required licenses or permits. · Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant environment. · Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting. · Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. · Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests. · Excellent verbal communication skills.
