Requirements Maintain watering system, roll, drag/rake surface and sweep lines of clay courts Blows debris and dust from surface of hard courts Builds up low spots, shaves high spots, dusts on all clay courts Keeps court tapes, nets, fences and gates in good condition Blows sidewalks, empties trash from court and facility receptacles Maintains court coolers, ice chest and tennis shoe cleaners Blows and cleans terrace areas and puts chairs in neat order Replenishes supplies such as ice, towels and cups Installs, removes and repairs court wind screens Keeps desk personnel informed of court conditions Orders and picks up facility supplies such as drinks, cups, towels, etc. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by shop manager and pro staff and attends staff meetings Performs any additional tasks needed to keep tennis courts and surrounding areas in good order Physical Demands and Work Environment Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. Continuous repetitive motions. Work in hot, humid and noisy environment. Qualifications: At least one to two years of maintenance experience is preferred, country club setting is a plus.
Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for the daily maintenance of clay and hard tennis courts, which includes managing watering systems, grooming surfaces, and ensuring all court fixtures like nets and fences are in good repair. This role also involves general facility upkeep, such as cleaning terraces, emptying trash, and replenishing supplies like ice and towels.
