Description Now Hiring – Radiographer Location: Float with different options for area coverage. Type: Seasonal (full-time or Part-time available) Shift: Days - no nights, call back or weekends! Ask the recruiter for more information, Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking a basic machine operator with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience. Essential Duties for a Radiographer: Receives and follows directives and instructions from radiologists, diagnostic imaging center manager, and technical director to properly perform the position’s functions. Calculates and selects proper technical factors such as voltage, current, exposure time, focal distance, etc., based on information such as patient age, physical condition, and suspected pathology. Schedules patient examinations according to physician’s orders as directed. Explain proper preparation to patients prior to procedure. Develops mammography films and related dark room duties, in addition to understanding the CR system and equipment. Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent hospital-based program. Required: Current ARRT and State of Florida license. Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience Required: None Preferred: Radiography experience in an outpatient setting Radiology Regional is an Equal Opportunity Employer
