The center is busy with six Varian/Siemens LINACs (TrueBeam STX, TrueBeam, Halcyon and IX), along with Brainlab ExacTrac Dynamic for SRS and surface tracking. The center has a state-of-the-art HDR brachytherapy suite with a dedicated CT and Varian/Siemens Bravos HDR Afterloader for GYN malignancies. We utilize Eclipse and Brainlab Elements for treatment planning and Aria for patient management. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a robust regional faculty practice of over 30 close-knit physicians based in desirable Southern California. Candidates must have completed their residency in an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology program and/or fellowship in an accredited US training program, be eligible for California medical licensure, and have a track record of excellence in clinical care, and research. There is a well-established Residency Program in Los Angeles, candidates will be expected to be enthusiastic and engaged in teaching activities. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills. Candidates must work well in collaboration with our physician colleagues, both within our department and across disciplines, as well as staff (nursing, physics, radiation therapy, and dosimetry). The ideal candidate will be a generalist radiation oncologist with an emphasis on GYN/GI malignancies with a particular interest in HDR brachytherapy.
