Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our dedicated oncology team. In this role, you will provide expert care by developing and implementing radiation treatment plans for cancer patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based therapies aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients for radiation therapy, taking into account individual diagnostic findings. Design, prescribe, and supervise radiation treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition. Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Monitor and manage patient progress, adapting treatment plans as clinically indicated. Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, potential side effects, and supportive care. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols. Engage in research and continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in radiation oncology. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Radiation Oncology. Valid medical license to practice. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in radiation oncology preferred. Strong knowledge of radiation therapy technologies and treatment planning software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team. Commitment to ongoing education and research in oncology. Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
