Nuclear Business Unit
ARC are looking for Radiation Shielding & Criticality Consultants, of all levels, to join our established team in Manchester.

Responsibilities

Lead gamma and neutron shielding calculations using tools such as MCNP, Attila, MicroShield and Hand calculations.
Review shielding calculations of others, providing constructive feedback.
Support safety case development and provide shielding and dose rate advice to project teams.
Optimise shielding designs to meet ALARP principles.
Preparation of normal operation dose assessments.
Liaise with regulators, clients and design authorities
