POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist, Medical physicist and Practice manager, the staff Radiation Therapist accurately delivers ionizing radiation to the patients in accordance with the planned treatment prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. The staff radiation therapist will assist as needed in all aspects of the Radiation Oncology Department functions, such as patient care, patient treatment delivery, patient treatment records, radiation safety, quality assurance and patient follow-up programs.
May be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Radiologic Health Branch prior to start date if offer is extended
