Overview You see your work as a balance of technical expertise and compassion. As a Radiation Therapist, you will simulate and administer therapeutic ionizing radiation to a diverse patient population, delivering care with professionalism, precision, and genuine concern for each individual you serve. In this role, you will help ensure safe, effective treatment while supporting patients through every step of their care experience. In doing so, you will help fulfill Legacy’s mission of making life better for others. Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence. Legacy Good Samaritan features nationally renowned doctors in cancer care, kidney transplantations, neurology, ophthalmology, weight-loss surgery, robotic surgery, rehabilitation and more, plus Oregon’s only 24-hour urgent care that’s located alongside an emergency room, with access to emergency care if needed. Responsibilities Under general supervision, simulates and administers therapeutic ionizing irradiation to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians. Qualifications Skills/Knowledge: Basic familiarity with computers preferred. Licensure Current applicable state licensure in Radiation Therapy Technologist (LRTT) required. National certification in Radiation Therapy (LRT-RT) required. Pay Range USD $51.13 - USD $73.12 /Hr.
