How you’ll make an impact in this role Procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in department. Administer prescribed radiation therapy to targeted areas, ensuring accurate patient positioning and parameter selection. Deliver treatment plans in collaboration with the physician and dosimetrist while maintaining precise treatment records. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ensure high-quality image and documentation submission to PACS and maintain a clean, safe, and organized department. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional preferences we're seeking IEMA License, ARRT certified in Radiation Therapy required.
