This role offers Radiation Therapists the opportunity to be part of building a new service line within a community‑based practice focused on access, quality, and patient‑centered care. As a key member of the oncology team, you will deliver daily external beam radiation treatments, ensure accurate treatment setup and documentation, and collaborate closely with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and clinical staff to support safe and effective care. You will also contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts while helping shape workflows and best practices. Responsibilities Include: Deliver daily external beam Radiation Therapy treatments accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription Accurately enter, verify, and maintain patient treatment parameters in the EMR Maintain daily treatment records, following established protocols and proactively reviewing patient charts Perform treatment setup, patient positioning, and verification using appropriate immobilization devices and imaging techniques Accurately interpret computerized treatment plans Ensure safe operation of equipment and adhere to established radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles Participate in quality control activities and the department’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives Support collaborative workflows with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and clinical staff About Los Gatos, CA Los Gatos, California is a charming, well-loved community located at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains, just southwest of Silicon Valley.
