Radio Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Radio Engineer or IT Engineer to join a leader in the market sector of retail radio security systems. Based at the company’s offices in Cardiff with UK wide travel when required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Digital radiocommunications equipment programming and configuration
• Preparation of software and hardware radiocommunication infrastructure
• Installation and commissioning of all equipment at customer premises
• Fault finding of equipment within a fully equipped workshop

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Have working experience of IP and computer system integration
• Be comfortable working outdoors and at height
• Digital radiocommunications experience, particularly Motorola & Hytera although full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Professional strong commitment to customer care

The ideal candidate must:

• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Be agreeable to spending some time away from home (within the UK) when installing radio systems at customer premises

• Annual salary between £23,100 - £24,500 per annum
