Role Description

The Radio Network Testing Delivery Consultant is a contract, on-site role based in Perth, WA. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on radio network tests to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with project requirements. The consultant will coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders, gather technical and business requirements, and translate them into structured testing plans and delivery milestones. Daily activities include conducting field tests, analyzing network performance data, preparing documentation and test reports, and presenting findings to project leads. The role also involves supporting issue resolution, recommending improvements, and contributing to continuous refinement of testing methodologies and delivery processes.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting radio network data, identifying patterns, and recommending performance improvements.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients, and for preparing concise reports.
  • Consulting experience in technology or telecommunications, including requirements gathering, solution recommendations, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to client and internal teams on testing processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with recruiting or supporting resource planning for project teams is an advantage.
  • Background in telecommunications, network engineering, or related field, with hands-on experience in radio or wireless network testing.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard testing tools and methodologies, and understanding of key performance indicators for radio networks.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, information technology, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent practical experience.


Reporting

The Network Testing Delivery Consultant will report to the Project Manager or Delivery Manager and work closely with engineering, analytics, product, and support teams. The consultant will interface directly with customer engineering teams, project stakeholders, and management.


Working Condition

This is an initial six-month contract based in Perth, with rolling extensions subject to project requirements and performance. Regular onsite attendance is required. Occasional travel within Australia and across the APAC region may be required for delivery, customer meetings, training, and technical support.
