HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Research, analysis, design, modeling, and test of wireless networks including but not limited to radio frequency (RF), microwave systems, data links and digital radio. Provides support in the design, development, and testing of radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products. Tracks and monitors network traffic and performance to ensure minimal interruption to network transmission. Prepares plans, process specifications and procedures. Prepares MRP support studies, cost work standards and assignments of similar complexity and magnitude. Compiles and evaluates test data, prepares technical analysis, recommends methods and processes required to meet design objectives on new or improved products and/or processes. Provides support in technical matters relating to Engineering Change Notices, rework, or other difficulties and specifications of a moderately complex nature. Conducts analyses or tests pertaining to the development of new methods, materials, processes or standards and provides recommendations accordingly. The RF Engineer must have: Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent technical training, certification(s) or experience Experience: 2+ years of related experience Certification: Candidate must possess an appropriate and current DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Certification to be considered for employment. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification is the preferred certification. Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
