Location: BONEX KLINIK ORTHOPEDIC AND SPINE, Dubai, UAE

Reports to: Radiology Department Head

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Female Radiographer to join our dynamic team at BONEX KLINIK ORTHOPEDIC AND SPINE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and spine conditions. This role involves working closely with our healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
  • Licensing: DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or eligibility is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Radiographer, preferably in orthopedic and spine imaging.
  • Skills:
  • Strong technical skills in operating imaging equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients with limited mobility.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray, C-Arm and ultrasound, to capture images of patients as directed by physicians.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging results while adhering to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Position patients correctly and adjust radiographic equipment to obtain accurate and clear diagnostic images.
  • Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and radiology technicians to evaluate images and provide accurate reports.
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of data.
  • Ensure all radiology equipment is regularly maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Adhere to infection control standards and clinic safety policies at all times.
  • Assist in the training of junior radiographers or radiology students as needed.
