• We are seeking current 4th year graduate Medical Imaging Diagnostic Radiography University students who complete their degree this year, and are eligible for employment in 2026!
• Opportunity to work with a highly skilled team, and undertake future training on the latest imaging technology! Including DR X-ray, mobiles and theatre image intensifiers, Dual Energy and Spectral CT, Hybrid Angio/CT interventional lab, high end mammography machine, high end 1.5T and 3.0T MRI scanners.
• Supportive team environment with a varying patient presentation and workload. This includes both adult and paediatric emergency, trauma, outpatient and inpatient imaging.

  The Grade 1 Radiographer/MIT will provide support to the Grade 2 Radiographer / MIT and their colleagues in the provision of the medical imaging service.

Duties of the Radiographer include but are not limited to:

• Independently operate all diagnostic imaging equipment including information systems (RIS/PACS/Firstnet,BOSS)
• Participate in the ‘ABC roster’ which includes being available for reasonable overtime and shift duty that does not attract an on-call or night shift allowance
• Operate all X-ray systems across Barwon Health including logging of equipment faults with imaging supervisors
• Perform routine medical imaging examinations including emergency, paediatric, inpatient and outpatient examinations
• Display leadership by example especially when working with students, and other Grade 1 Radiographers
