JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Radiography Assistant to join our Imaging Department. The successful candidate will play a key supporting role in ensuring the smooth operation of radiographic procedures, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff, and assisting radiographers with clinical and administrative duties.

· Assist radiographers in preparing patients for imaging procedures
· Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the imaging process.
· Help position patients and equipment under the direction of the radiographer.
· Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
· Manage patient flow and coordinate appointment schedules.
· Perform administrative tasks as required.
· Support infection prevention practices.
· Assist with stock control.
· Escort patients as needed to and from imaging suites.
· Uphold patient confidentiality and data protection at all times.
