Aligned Orthopedic Partners is recruiting for an experienced Radiologic Technologist. $5000 sign on bonus! ($2500 after 30 days and $2500 after 90 days) What you will do: Explain the procedure to the patient. Position the patient properly before images. Position radiation protection devices such as lead shields. Set x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patients body. Set controls on the x-ray machine to produce x-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast. Follow the physicians orders precisely. Keep the patient records and adjust/maintain equipment. Other duties as assigned. We’d love to hear from you if you: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree or higher preferred. Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. Current Maryland Radiologic Technologist licensure required. ARRT certification required. Proven experience conducting X-Rays. Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations and medical office procedures. Organizational and multitasking skills. Appearance, behavior, and communication skills must promote excellent customer service. Upholds HIPAA regulations. Complies with all OSHA mandates for dosimeter readings and quality assurance. Ability to adjust to changing situations. Responsibilities
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for explaining procedures, accurately positioning patients, setting up and operating X-ray equipment to produce quality radiographs, and precisely following physician orders. Duties also include maintaining patient records and ensuring equipment is properly adjusted and maintained.
