Description
Overview CVP is seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists to provide comprehensive imaging services for our Nation's Veterans at the San Francisco VA Health Care System. You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across multiple locations to support quality healthcare delivery for Veterans.As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will perform general diagnostic procedures including fluoroscopy, operating room imaging, and portable X-rays. You'll work with advanced imaging equipment in a state-of-the-art medical facility, providing critical diagnostic services that support Veterans' healthcare needs across the San Francisco Bay area. Responsibilities Perform general diagnostic X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy, operating room imaging, and portable X-rays throughout the medical center Set up X-ray rooms ensuring sterile supplies, contrast materials, and required equipment are present and properly arranged Operate imaging equipment using appropriate technical factors and established protocols, with familiarity with GE equipment preferred Receive patients by verifying identity using two patient identifiers, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and modesty Archive and document procedures with proper image annotation, evaluation, and labeling for optimal anatomic demonstration Send daily start/end time and workload emails to designated VA address, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in quality assurance activities Qualifications Completion of full-time training program in diagnostic radiologic technology from JRCERT-accredited program Current certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (renewed every 2 years) Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Familiarity with GE equipment and Philips IntelliSpace PACS highly desirable Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Physical ability to assist patients, operate equipment, and work rotating shifts US Citizenship required for background investigation Shift Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays:• Days: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM• Split: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM• Evenings: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM• Nights: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM Pay Range: $65-70/hr Location San Francisco VAMC, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121 About CVP CVP is an award-winning healthcare and next-gen technology and consulting services firm solving critical problems for healthcare, national security, and public sector clients.
