Description Radiologic Technologist We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. - Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and other diagnostic tools to produce high-quality images. - Position patients accurately to capture optimal images for diagnosis. - Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure safety and accuracy. - Review images for quality and clarity, and make adjustments as necessary. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation. - Follow all safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff. - Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret images and support patient care. - Serves in the after hours on-call rotation with other technologists. An efficiency apartment is available on-site for use when on-call. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Kansas - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - Proven experience in operating diagnostic imaging equipment. - Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures. - Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate images. - Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities. - Physical stamina and dexterity to position patients and operate equipment.
