Description Atlantis Orthopaedics, a division of South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform routine X-ray exams and assist physicians during interventional pain procedures using fluoroscopy. When not performing imaging, this role supports the clinical team as a Medical Assistant. This role is located in our Lake Worth office, with occasional coverage in our Palm Beach Gardens office. Responsibilities • Assist with interventional pain procedures using the GE OEC 8800 FlexiView C-Arm. • Perform X-ray exams for orthopaedic, podiatry, and pediatric patients. • Manage PACS documentation and produce quality diagnostic images. • Follow ALARA radiation safety standards. • Room patients, document in EMR, and support efficient clinic flow. • Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service. • Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and follow infection control protocols. Requirements • Florida license and ARRT certification required. • Experience in fluoroscopy and routine X-ray required; GE OEC 8800 FlexiView C-Arm experience strongly preferred. • Clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred, especially in orthopaedics, podiatry and/or pain management. • EMR experience required, ECW preferred. • Dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a high-volume environment. • Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Must be flexible in scheduling to start early on procedure days. Physical Demands • Extended standing; assisting patients up to 300 lbs; lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
Perform routine X-ray exams and assist physicians with interventional pain procedures using fluoroscopy. Additionally, provide clinical support as a Medical Assistant, including patient rooming and EMR documentation.
