Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

At Canada Diagnostic Centres (“CDC”), we don’t just provide healthcare—we lead the way in diagnostic imaging, offering compassionate, timely, and high-quality services to patients across Western Canada. Since1993, we’ve been at the forefront of diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures, leveraging advanced technology with a strong focus on patient care.
We are seeking a full-time permanent Radiologist to join our team in Edmonton. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2025, with some flexibility based on availability. This role offers a highly rewarding and well-compensated career in an outpatient clinic setting, with no scheduled weekends, evenings, or on-call requirements. Enjoy the flexibility to define your time commitment and vacation, along with a supportive, positive work environment where Radiologists are valued—not sidelined by hospital or large partnership politics. No buy-in is required, and all new colleagues receive equal compensation for the same work. Join a best-in-class team with top-tier clinics, equipment, and technologists.
Please note: This position is for on-site clinic coverage in Edmonton. It is not a teleradiology role, and we have no current remote-support needs.

Responsibilities
  • On-site provision of care at CDC’s Edmonton clinic locations.
  • Interpret and report on a broad range of imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound (general body, MSK, breast, obstetrical, and vascular), mammography (screening and diagnostic), fluoroscopy, and bone mineral densitometry.
  • Perform image-guided MSK and basic spine procedures for pain management, using fluoroscopy and ultrasound as applicable.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of technologists, nurses, medical office assistants, Radiologists, Cardiologists, Physiatrists, and Perinatologists to ensure efficient and well-structured workflows.
  • Develop strong relationships with referring physicians, building trust and confidence in CDC’s diagnostic and procedural expertise.
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring compassionate and effective communication to enhance the patient experience.
  • For sub-specialty-trained applicants, a limited volume of private MRI may be available.
