Description
Department Overview Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH), in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is searching for a board-certified/board-eligible, fellowship trained, MQSA-certified Radiologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology Department in Astoria, Oregon as a per diem provider. Function/Duties of Position CMH and OHSU are offering a Clinical Associate position which provides the opportunity to practice general radiology in our small community hospital on the northern Oregon coast on a per diem basis. As a general radiologist in Astoria your clinical responsibilities will include all modalities and interventional procedures. CMH utilizes Powerscribe 360 and Phillips iSite for their PAC’s system, and Phillips for the US and interventional equipment. In addition, the hospital has 1.5T and 3.0T MRI scanners. CMH is a full service, critical access, not-for-profit, Planetree-Certified hospital which shares a collaborative relationship with OHSU. This partnership has resulted in a beneficial intersection of academic and rural medicine for the patients of our coastal communities. Over the years, our relationship has grown to include collaborations within cancer care, cardiology, emergency medicine, general surgery, urology, endocrinology, podiatry, orthopedics, women’s health, pediatrics, primary care, and radiology. Together, CMH and OHSU have created an integrated system of care that bolsters the Oregon north coast region. The National Rural Health Organization (NRHO) has named CMH the Outstanding Rural Health Organization for 2024. Required Qualifications Candidates must be ABR board certifying eligible after passing the ABR Core Exam and successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency. International Medical Graduates are eligible for the position provided they have a valid ECFMG certificate, have completed an ACGME-accredited residency and ABR Core Exam, or are otherwise board-eligible through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway program.
