Radiology Assistant - Full Time/Varied Shift Job Summary: Obtain prior studies and lab work and implant information for CT and MRI patients. Screens patients for history and safety prior to exam. Provide assistance with positioning and transferring of patients.  Acts as a liaison with the scheduling department to accommodate STAT and add-on patients. Assist technologist in coordinating scans for inpatients and emergency room patients. Safely transports inpatients and ED patients to and from the imaging department. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Spanish Speaking preferred 3. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software. 4. Certificates and Licenses: CPR Certification Varied Shift 1.0
Responsibilities
