Radiology Clerk —PRN Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 WORK HOURS: PRN as needed; rotating shifts DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS: • Level I Trauma Center • Comprehensive Heart Attack and Stroke Center • 8 years in a row, Texas Health Resources has Placed #1 on Fortune’s list of Best Workplaces in Healthcare WHAT YOU WILL NEED: • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. • 1-year clerical or medical office experience preferred. • Experience in a radiology department helpful. • Computer keyboard, filing, transporting patients withing the hospital. • Good customer service. • Interpersonal and communication skills. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Greets all patients/visitors upon arrival in department. • Answers incoming calls to the department. • Informs patients on exam preparations and instructions. • Monitor’s patient waiting times. • Verifies orders and enters into appropriate system. • Fulfills requests for copies of patient records and films. • Maintain work area to sanitary standards. • Keeps all food and beverages out of patient care areas. • Maintain and enhances communication skills and technology.
