FTE: 0.001 Standard Hours: 0.01 (Opitoinal Part Time) Shift: Shift 1 No set schedule, required to pick up 3 shifts per month. Why this job could be perfect for you! • Strong team environment • Gain a strong knowledge of radiology workflow • Help make a difference for patients Job Summary: Coordinates and participates in a variety of duties associated with improving the daily workflow of the radiology reading room and overall image interpretation and reporting processes. Provides EPIC and other process training for radiologists, fellows and radiology residents. Responds to phone calls and pages, assessing/evaluating information with regard to providing radiologists with adequate data to assist with image interpretation and generation of reports; collects and prepares patient information, including study results; interacts with referring physicians, practitioner assistants, nurse practitioners, etc. as well as working directly with the radiologists, residents, and fellows. Provides occasional assistance with patient transfers. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 2 years of radiology assistant or related healthcare experience is required. Radiology experience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate Degree in healthcare related field is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Medical Assistant certification or Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.
