Responsibilities

As a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer with leadership responsibilities, you will:

  • Deliver a high-quality CT and/or MRI imaging service, ensuring patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the imaging department.
  • Act as deputy to the Imaging Manager, stepping in to lead the team in their absence.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop radiographers, helpers, and students to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Lead by example, embedding Spire’s values and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee equipment checks, compliance with safety regulations, and support audit and quality assurance processes.
  • Support service planning and innovation, helping the department to meet patient and business needs.
