Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities Performs radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited college. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. TMB Licensed within 60 days of hire. ARRT Registered. Preferred Job Requirements: One-year experience. Knowledge and ability to operate all radiology/imaging equipment and perform all radiology/imaging/therapeutic procedure.

Responsibilities

The Radiology Tech performs radiology procedures for patients of all ages using ionizing radiation and other imaging modalities. This role aids in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and may require overtime and call back as needed.
