Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation. Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider. Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety. May provide clerical support for the assigned department, including, but not limited to, filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer. Qualifications Job Requirements Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM. *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements* Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire. Preferred Job Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree. One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.
