Get to Know Your Team: Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo. Responsibilities The Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to patient care, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The Radiology Technician works closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment to deliver high-quality imaging services. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRTARRT (R) certification. MRT License from the Texas Medical Board. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: 1 year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting. Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
