Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced X-Ray Tech to join our Radiology team! Shift: PRN, varied shifts, mostly weekends with possibility of weekday coverage dependent on PTO coverage needs. Weekend and holiday requirements. Per department needs. Summary: The technologist is responsible for performing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the department, at the bedside and in the OR., including those utilizing oral and /or injected contrast agents. The technologist assists the radiologist and/or other licensed, privileged physicians during radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality. Major Responsibilities: Performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures Utilizes Hospital EMR and Radiology PACS system with accuracy Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure Provides guidance and mentoring to students Accept additional assignments and tasks Provide DX Radiology department coverage 24/7 including weekends and holidays Supports the mission and values of St. Francis Hospital Minimum Qualifications: ARRT required.
