Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: El Paso Childrens Hospital - El Paso, TX 79905 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Job Shift: Rotating Job Category: Health Care Position Summary Performs wide range of Diagnostic Imaging Services procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in Diagnostic Imaging Services. Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience One (1) year experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a hospital setting preferred. License/Registration/Certification Texas Certified Medical Radiological Technologist (MRT) through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) achieved or will attain within one year of hire Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Education and Training Graduate of accredited radiological technologist program. Skills Possesses critical thinking and problem solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
