Description *PRN Position* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Abilene Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is a professional and agile company, Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Obtains quality diagnostic radiographic as requested by physicians. (As quickly as exam/patient condition will allow. Keeping a repeat rate of 2% or less.) Uses radiation protection and shielding materials when required. Reviews and QAs radiologic images. Ensures that all equipment is in compliance with state regulations, is maintained in good working order and clean. Liaison between patients, physicians, and medical support staff. Must demonstrate a caring and professional manner in order to make patients feel comfortable. Inventories and stocks radiologic supplies. Attends required staff meetings. Maintains patient confidentiality. Maintains current continuing medical education as required. Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager. EDUCATIONAL AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: High School degree or equivalent. ARRT or LMRT Certification required QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Student technologist would be beneficial but not necessary. Orthopedic experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor. Neat, professional appearance. #ASMO Requirements EDUCATIONAL AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: High School degree or equivalent. Must be a RT. No LMRTs or NCTs ARRT and MRT Certification required QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Orthopedic experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor. Neat, professional appearance.
Responsibilities
