Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers. Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements. Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Reports any patient complaints or concerns to the Clinical Supervisor. Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments. Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels. Maintains patient confidentiality. Attends required department staff meetings. Position Details: -Orthopaedic Urgent Care -Shift Work: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Off Sundays, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Off until the following Thursday. -Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM, Saturday 9AM-6PM -Holidays Off: New Years Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for job position. Requirements EDUCATION: Certificate and or Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification. EXPERIENCE: 0–2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred; new grads encouraged to apply. CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or Urgent Care and Triage Experience KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures. Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software. Knowledge of safety requirements within the department. SKILLS: Skill in production of radiology exams. Skill in obtaining patient information via the computer. Skill in maintaining professional relationships with patients, family members and the public. ABILITIES: Ability to effectively care for patients. Ability to communicate clearly to patients, family members and staff. Ability to maintain professional relationships with providers. ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. A combination of bending, lifting, and transferring activities. Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
