DESCRIPTION: Multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team. Our center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. JOB SUMMARY: · The Radiology Technologist will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. · Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures. · Maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff. REQUIRED SKILLS: · Must possess strong OR skills. · Must have experience using C-Arms. · Must possess independent decision-making skills. · Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. · Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families. · Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way. · Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology. · AART Registered and CPR Current. · One-year hospital or outpatient experience required (3+ years preferred). · Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Education: · Associate’s degree in Medical Imaging Sciences (Required) · Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) License/Certification: · ARRT Certification (Required) · CPR Certification (Required) Work Location: One location - Ambulatory Surgery Center Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.
