Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion. Responsibilities: Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers. Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required. Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders. Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly. Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures. Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data. Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect. Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation. Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists cannot work in an Outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Certificate or registry eligible. Must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
