Enjoy opportunities for ongoing growth and development within UPMC’s imaging career ladder. What You’ll Do Perform high-quality diagnostic radiography exams following established protocols. Review patient histories, verify orders, and document accurately in the electronic record. Administer contrast materials as directed by policy. Ensure exams are properly coded, archived, and tracked through the RIS system. Provide compassionate care, clear communication, and a positive experience for every patient. Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date as of January 1, 2025. Diagnostic Technologists hired prior to January 1, 2025, will need to obtain their registry within 12 months of hire/transfer date. CPR or BLS Required.
