What You’ll Do Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures independently using prescribed ionizing radiation. Verify patient identity, review orders, and document histories accurately in the electronic record. Administer oral or rectal contrast and follow established safety and procedural protocols. Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived for interpretation and billing. Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, ease concerns, and ensure comfort. Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and staff to deliver efficient, compassionate care. Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date. CPR or BLS Required.
