Raging Waters Sydney - Park Presentation Coordinator
About the role:
The Park Presentation Coordinator at Raging Waters Sydney is accountable for a positive work environment along with the efficient and effective coordination of all day-to-day operational aspects of the Park Presentation Team.
The Park Presentation Coordinator will ensure their team exceeds expectations by ensuring that all tasks related to team member and guest areas are completed to the highest standards in terms of cleanliness, appearance, and safety with through clean floors and rubbish is promptly removed. Attention is to be paid to company environmental policy in terms of chemical usage and waste disposal.
The Park Presentation Coordinator will have a keen eye for detail, be able to lead a team, be self-motivated and professionally presented.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to accept the most effective role while leading the team by example and with integrity.
  • Being an ambassador for Raging Waters Sydney and enforcing all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and those of Palace Entertainment and Parques Reunidos.
  • Support the park presentation department in a predominantly administrative role through all aspects of the department operations with a focus on the management of overall park cleanliness
  • Managing and co-ordinating team members where responsibilities include, but are not limited to, resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, rostering, performance management and conducting performance reviews
  • To assist with effectively, recruiting, training, developing and mentor team members of the operations team.
  • Setting service standards for the Park Presentation team and monitoring the delivery of appropriate training to team members that will enable them to exceed the department standards
  • Lead by example, monitor, motivate and create a positive work environment for team members to achieve ensure all tasks are completed by the Park Presentation Team Members.
  • Oversee administrative compliance for any required reporting, records and training, safety, stock take, ordering, purchase orders, and other operational requirements.
  • Recognise problems and make decisions to help resolve the problem. Effectively communicate serious nature problems to the Director of Operations.
  • Establishing, reviewing and amending the systems, processes and practices that are in place to enable team members to effectively perform their roles to include equipment and product use
  • Identification key issues within the business and implement plans to ensure efficiencies are upheld.
  • To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations or member of the Management Team.
  • Coordinate and oversee any external contracts related to Park Presentation.
  • Conduct training and assess competency of Team Members to assist in team development and training to maintain Raging Waters operational and presentation standards.
  • Teach and train team members on various equipment and tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain correct operating levels as specified in line schedules for all operational days.
  • Coordinating staffing levels on operational days and nonoperational days utilising Quinyx scheduling system.
  • Review, check accuracy and process team member timekeeping as per the set procedure
  • Responsible for ensuring overall Park cleanliness meets health and safety standards as well as departmental standards.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, delivery and review of policy and procedures that ensure Raging Waters Sydney meets its various obligations including financial, workplace health and safety, industry, and legal requirements.
  • Follow and enforce company environmental policies in terms of chemical usage and waste disposal.
  • Ensure systems, process and practices are in place to enable team members to effectively discharge their roles.
  • To carry out all duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director of Operations and any member of the Management Team.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

  • Follow, enforce, and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
  • Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety

Education:

Desirable

  • Manual Handling Training.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Leadership.

Languages: Fluent English

  • Cleaning experience.
  • Experience in leading a team, training and or mentoring a team.

  • Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, early mornings, evenings, and public holidays.

Pay Conditions:
This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.
Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.
The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.
Park Presentation Coordinator aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 9 hourly rate of $35.70per hour plus 25% casual loading ($44.63 per hour includes casual loading).
Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under.
Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.
