ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to continued growth, Mader Group’s Rail Services division are currently seeking High Voltage Locomotive/Rail Electricians to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on either a FIFO 8/6 or 6/6 Roster.
This is a FIFO role ex. Perth, flights paid if based interstate.
Successful candidates will have experience working with various classes, makes and models of Locomotives, a good understanding of the Locomotive and transport industry.

KEY DUTIES:

• Scheduled Locomotive and Rolling stock maintenance
• Diagnostics, fault finding and repairs of Diesel electric Drive systems such as EMD, GE
• Drive system component diagnostics and repairs
• Dynamic brake testing and commissioning
• Electrical Component installation, replacement and repairs
• Electrical and Mechanical breakdown diagnostics and repairs; including replacements of Traction Motors, Alternators, Engine and Power assemblies, Air Compressors, and Blower motors.
