Key Responsibilities & Expertise:

  • Lead business development efforts within the rail sector, identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across North American rail networks
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager and contribute to forecasting and pipeline management
  • Utilize ERP systems to track sales activity, manage accounts, and support operational efficiency
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development within the rail industry
  • Strong understanding of rail sector dynamics and customer needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience with ERP systems is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently in a remote capacity
  • Residing in Eastern Canada or the U.S.
