Description
Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Rail & Vac Technician to join their team. The Rail & Vac Technician will be responsible for hooking up pumps and hoses in two areas. One area is our rail yard where we transfer dirty solvent, clean solvent, and used motor oil into and out of rail cars. Other area will be our vac water area and there the employee will grab representative samples from an SK vac truck to determine acceptance. They will then use hoses and pumps to decant the mix pit into tanks. Shift: 1st shift position (6:30am-3:00pm), this is a rough end time as all work has to be completed prior to shift ending for the day. Pay: $18.50-20.50 DOE (includes a shift differential, which is not paid out during training due to day shift) Special Note: Around 45 hours a week is pretty standard for this role Why work for Clean Harbors?
