Job Description:
This position is targeted for an entry level technician which will be responsible for providing technical support of the Classic and Cloud Radio Access Network (RAN). Reporting, tracking, documenting, and assisting various support groups - to include ATS and/or OEM vendors - is an essential skill for this position to diagnose, restore, and accurately report on network events. This role is primary support for remote triage/restoral, prioritization, performance analysis, report analysis, RCA analysis and outage event bridge participation for RAN technologies. This role also provides input to action plans that mitigate any network impact.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus on network fault troubleshooting/resolution and trouble ticket management.
  • Handle RF Safety and Interference Complaints
  • Handle Service Assurance and NOTAM
  • Field personnel technical support.
  • IVR phone support.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work any shift to provide 24x7 network support.
  • Primary location Brno, Czechia
  • Candidate MUST have extensive level experience troubleshooting, maintaining, configuring, provisioning, and supporting Ericsson RAN equipment (4G = eNodeB, 5G = gNodeB).
  • Trained and competent in the use of RF related performance tools (Arieso, Optima…) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Cloud related concepts such as Kubernetes(K8), VNF & Orchestration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux and comfortable working on software applications using Linux is a plus.
  • Familiarity with common security UAM protocols such as TACACS and LDAP is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering (preferred), or equivalent related network experience.
Location: Brno office presence 5 days/week
Working time: EMEA with flexibilty to cover any shift depending on business need
Compensation: Salary starting from 91,000 CZK gross monthly. The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge and experience.
