SUMMARY

This role operates heavy equipment and related implements to accomplish various assigned water operations, farming and/or construction tasks by preforming various duties.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ Yeas related experience and/or training.
  • Basic welding skill to fix pipe systems, build corrals or fencing systems.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated ability in the operation of various pieces of heavy construction equipment and specialized farm equipment. Ability to properly mix and apply agricultural chemicals and fertilizers.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates ranch and/or construction equipment including tractors, backhoes, loaders, graders, water trucks, cement truck or semi truck.
  • Preforms light maintenance on equipment such as replenishing fuel, checking oil levels, etc.; ensures equipment is services in a timely manner by mechanics.
  • Ability to maintain/diagnose and/or fix water related issues for livestock drinking water and/or housing issues. Will preform duties directly related to plumbing lines, stock water lines and/or tank maintenance.
  • Some welding on fence/pipe/corral systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
