Description Grace Adventures Ministries is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible based beliefs and practices. Because of the nature of our Christian program; Christian belief, character, and practice are essential requirements of employment positions. Paradise Ranch is a campus ministry of Grace Adventures Ministries. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures Ministries and cast vision of the ministry to others. This position will lead, develop, and implement current and future programs, related program equipment, vehicles, and activity sites as it pertains to the Paradise Ranch campus as part of the program ministry team. ASSUMPTIONS: This person will evaluate and adjust programs according to the feedback received from the constituency This person will understand and uphold Grace Adventures Ministries philosophy of programming Creating culture, casting vision and providing supervision are the core of this position Relationships with key individuals, groups, and families will be vitally important for this position. These relationships will be established with integrity and result in a stronger connection to Paradise Ranch This person will communicate (written and oral) the ministry of Paradise Ranch Collaborative partnerships with other like minded organizations are essential This position will lead and supervise the staff GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, lead, develop, implement and evaluate ranch ministry programs for students, adults, families and communities Ensure emotional and physical safety in all ranch ministry programs Develop and administer the program budgets for the Paradise Ranch Campus Oversee all ranch activity sites including inventory and maintenance of said program equipment Oversee the herd care and management of both the horses and cattle and all equipment necessary for it Work with Marketing and Sales to promote and grow Paradise Ranch Visit churches, para-churches, and key leaders to build relationship and research future opportunities as outlined in the Ministry Plan Develop year around contact with student, adults, and families we serve Oversee all supervision of all summer, contract, PACE and volunteer staff involved with Paradise Ranch Campus Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: A testimony and lifestyle that gives evidence of a true experience of salvation by grace in Jesus Christ An attitude of excellence in workmanship A supportive attitude to the needs of others with a solution oriented mindset An ability to recruit, plan, direct and supervise the energies of staff and volunteers A desire to learn and develop new skills Self-disciplined and self-motivated Have the physical ability to travel and implement camp activities over a 378 acre campus. At times lifting and carrying is part of the job Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years Christian camping experience in a related field Be a CHA certified riding instructor and have experience in herd management, horsemanship instruction, and/or horse training Be flexible to change as the greater need of the ministry and fulfillment of the organization’s mission statement requires, by performing any duties as assigned
